Keeping It Open

I may be naive and I may be a fool but the one thing I know how to do is to let myself fall in love. I put myself out there, everytime and I pick up the pieces - everytime. The one thing I do not know how to do is close up my heart. Some pick at me and say this is foolish but I think it's wonderful. Why not embrace every little bit of love your heart can find and so what if in the end it doesn't work out, you sure as hell had one heck of a ride. I'm tuneing out my ears to your cautious words of 'wisdom' and I am basking in mine - never close up your heart no matter how much it hurts to keep it open.
